I keep listening to Mumford & Son’s “Broken Crown” and getting intense Loki feels, because it feels very accurate to his story, his perspectives, and his choices in my headcanon.
and that’s your opinion on the character, alright. But I’ve been seeing it spill over a LOT onto the people who like Loki, people raging that he’s a psychotic killer, a murderer, sociopath, etc., so there must be something wrong with you when you feel sympathy or pity or any kind of tender feelings towards him.

Hot damn. That pose.
his body is ready. ;) hahahah xD
I’m actually just watching the way he breathes in the light. He’s taking this huge breath, like he’s bracing himself for the confrontation he KNOWS is coming. His mother just handed him the throne with a heaping platter of duty, but the Warriors Three and Sif are about to come in an have it announced to them and he already knows that they will never support him, that they will assume that he has somehow tricked his way onto the throne. And people wonder how his actions escalated so quickly and crazily.

Ugh, it just kills me how UNWELL he looked here. Seriously, between this, that obvious shudder (a tell for fear, from the god of lies) when the Chitauri leader threatened him, and his increasingly obvious unraveling desperation throughout the movie, it’s just so painfully obvious that something is wrong here, something not right with Loki that no one seems to be seeing beyond “smell the crazy on him.” Honey, what happened to you out there? How did you get so spectacularly lost?
I won’t touch Barton. Not until I make him kill you. Slowly. Intimately. In every way he knows you fear. And then he’ll wake just long enough to see his good work and when he screams, I’ll split his skull. This is my bargain, you mewling quim!
meanwhile, Natasha plays him like a Stradivarius.
